no multitracking. no overdubs. no dub chambers, marsupial thumbdrives, algebraic nerf beats, Hekter McBuckleskins nor flamingos in the snow. just a mostly quiet mix made on a mostly quiet night, underneath a february lunar eclipse.
this is mostly new music to me, coming over the transom this past month or two, and represents what I listen to when I'm not roaming the outer banks of far-fetched multi-textured beats and grooves with DJ Playaduster. the vibe here is grounded and grounding, which is exactly what I need tonight, and maybe a little bit sentimental too.
