Lunatics Production Timelapse (July to October, 2024)
Although much of the Spring and Summer of 2024 was dedicated to technical work, I did manage to do some production too. This timelapse gathers work from July to October of 2024, by topic (although this is also approximately chronological):

00:10 Textless Opening and Closing for Lunatics.
02:46 Fixing Kdenlive Scene Edits to be portable (i.e. use relative paths for clips and images).
18:16 Attempting to assemble pilot episode using direct-edit links (failed).
19:15 Assembling pilot episode using staged renders (fell back to old method).
22:52 Control Panel Animation for new shot in "Suiting Up" sequence.
26:54 Camera direction/animation for new shot in "Suiting Up" sequence (camera movement for the shot above).
27:57 Rebuilding "Suiting Up" sequence with new shot, for review.
28:08 Refactoring Soyuz Console video textures to reduce bulk of source files (moved texture source to renders folder).
35:16 WIP on velcro strap for Georgiana's spacesuit: modeling and rigging.
37:07 Created a custom alpha transition for Kdenlive for use in LA sequence (probably will re-do this).
37:32 Credit titlecard and support info.
