"There were mostly sheep guys on the jury and it didn't help that Davis was known to shoot at them and their friends. So he was convicted, but there were some pretty significant doubts about his guilt. He had evidence that he was actually in another state at the time of this particular shooting. The case took a dramatic turn when the actual perpetrators confessed to the killings. They claimed self defense and they were believed and so they were found not guilty."
