"By the 1950s, the program produced about a hundred million yellow fever infected mosquitoes per month, which could be delivered via bombs or missiles. I never thought of mosquitoes as a payload. They also bred 50 million fleas weekly, and those were uninfected to start, but could later be infected with anthrax, cholera, dengue fever, malaria, typhus and tularemia, which I had never heard of, but is also known as rabbit fever.
