It’s time to become an Ingress Agent

What seemed like a slow news week turned in to some fantastic conversations about our expectations of events, and how you can become proactive in shaping the future of the Pokemon GO world map. We talk Swinub Community Day and have differing levels of excitement for the event. We had limited coverage from the Porto Alegre Safari Zone, but it seemed to be the smallest SZ event to date. We take a top level dive into how Open Street Map shapes the layout of spawns and nests, particularly how improper map tags have created a MEGANEST out of Long Island, NY. The big deal of the week was a new reward system for Ingress agents to take part in Operation Portal Recon, which provides the foundation for new PokeStops and Gyms in Pokemon GO.
