During Saturday’s Role on Hellenic Radio, host Renos Nicos Spanoudes chats to South African singing sensation Fagrie Isaacs, who will perform a tribute show for the late Luther Vandross titled ‘Here and Now’ at Hillsong Church in Century City, Cape Town, on 12 November. Isaacs will be joined by other artists, including Salome, Andrea Fortuin and former Idols winner Jody Williams, as well as comedian Carl Weber who will be the MC for the event. The show is courtesy of SME and Fi6 Music.

Isaacs said he’ll perform a selection of the late R&B star’s popular ballads and his personal favourite hits including ‘Impossible Dream’, ‘Here and Now’, ‘Power of Love’, and many more. The gig will feature a full stage production with a live band, backing vocals, and all the bells and whistles, the singer said. Isaacs boasts nearly 35 years of experience entertaining audiences across the world with his stage presence and soulful voice. He has performed a number of cover songs before including 'Always and Forever' and 'Evergreen' by Luther Vandross'.
