One of the ways we tlaked about how to make money from your computer is content creation adn affilaite marketing, but first you need a niche.

Today we talk about what exactly a niche is and how to find one.

When looking for a niche consider:

1) what do you know, what do you have experience in

2) what do you like, what are you passionate about

3) what problems can you solve, what frustrations can you offer a solution for

Needs

Wants

Desires

Fears

Local product or service missing and needed.

They should be a group of people willing to PURCHASE items.

Keyword Search to see if it's worth making content about:

Higher search volume = higher competition

Too low search volume = no audience

At least 1000

3000 is golden 10k is too high

12+ long tail variation s of main key word

Tools to search a niche:

Redditlist.com

Google Keywords

Amazon best sellers books

Facebook groups

Quora questions being asked in broad search term

Clickbank

Avoid:

Niches in the top 500 sites on Alexa

Avoid health and financial niches because Google punishes your rank unless you have professional qualifications. Unless you are professional yourself or can find someone who is, don't make this your niche. (forgot to mention this in the show)

What to sell:

Accessories, add-ons, extras (tv cables, guitar strings, hard drives)

Consumables

Easy price point. The impulse buy under $20.
