LVL 9: Gratitude

Take a minute to check back in with all of the blessings around you. Remember that this is a journey so if you choose to take the lesser walked path, remember to smell the roses along the way. That is the beauty of this moment — of this singular point in time; that we have the choice to surrender to our own free will, or to submit to fate. Every single moment is an opportunity.

Gratitude. As a person with DID, the persona I am in this moment is named Joy. Give me a little Grace as I wet my face with tears of joy throughout this whole episode.

I am in awe. I am astonished. I am so utterly humbled by the blessings that I have been bestowed — in the form of friends, family, familiar faces, fur-babies and fruit pastries. Life often presents us with struggles that seem more like bad fortune than Felix culpa. Every single moment is your choice.

I am so honored to walk in this experience with you. I am so honored. Thank you. Thank you, from the deepest corners of my everything. Thank you.
