I'm much more interested in the products of photography than I am in the methods of photography. To me, gear is a necessary evil. My objective with all gear related decisions is to find the least problematic solution I can. I can look at images all day, but get bored by gear talk in about 3 minutes. Manufacturers seem to want to focus our attention on megapixels, frames per second, and video capabilities — none of which is if the least importance to me. Besides, when I assemble a project from the images in my Lightroom catalog, I can never tell which camera was used unless I look at the metadata. As far as the images themselves, there doesn't appear to be any visible differences between on camera and the next.
