There are few guarantees in life — few things of which we can be absolutely sure. … Jesus speaks the words of John 16:33 between the institution of the Lord’s Supper and His betrayal and arrest. He promises there are two guarantees in life: tribulation and peace.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him (Psalm 103:11).

YOU are priceless and precious. But maybe you don’t think of yourself that way … Do not despair, my friend! There is hope!  … God loves you with a perfect love.

Though we understand that God is with us every moment of our lives, we, as humans, tend to need support, comfort, and encouragement. The hymn, "Abide with Me," reminds us that there will be challenges and obstacles throughout our life, but Jesus has overcome them all and is always with us!
