Lynnea is a Paleontology graduate student completing her PhD at the University of Michigan. She shared a social media post of two pictures ~ one at age 7 when she first discovered paleontology at the Field Museum in Chicago and the second at age 23 returning as a visiting researcher in the paleo collections at the same institution. The post went viral, making Lynnea's story an inspiration for thousands of people to not only follow their dreams but to challenge representational stereotypes of both paleontologists and dinosaurs alike, leading to greater awareness, and celebration of, diversity of all kinds.
