June 9, 2024 – Lyrics To Live By – Acts 20:22-24
Little is certain in life. One thing that we can count on is that every person will have a beginning and an ending. It’s what we do with that time in between that matters the most. And for those of us who declare ourselves to be disciples, Acts provides some clarity as to how we should live that “in-between” time. Join for worship today, as we walk through one of the most touching goodbyes in the New Testament.
Acts 20:22-24
New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition
22 And now, as a captive to the Spirit,[a] I am on my way to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there, 23 except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me in every city that imprisonment and persecutions are waiting for me. 24 But I do not count my life of any value to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the good news of God’s grace.
