Dropping The Masks We Wear

Artists have a persona on stage that isn’t usually who they
really are. As a doctor, do you find yourself wearing a mask at the office that
changes how you would like to interact around town?

Dr. Justin  Trosclair
many so today we're going to be story brand Episode 112 testing kind of random
might be a musician, manager and then magician stuff flashy. There's some good
stuff. So the guy was talking about musicians these days to be creative, not
just trying to make money concerts, but you have a certain persona, maybe you
can get a deal with a certain kind of different brand, not like Coke, but
sometimes a little less mainstream.

So kinda like the whole micro influencer major influencer.
There are lots of lots of clothing brands, jewelry brands, lifestyle brains,
who brands that are looking to have people who can endorse their product to
their crowd, you know, a musician might have a couple hundred thousand
followers. So that's a good use of their time and efforts as a sponsor.

And so how does that relate to a doctor, look through your
town and there might be some big deals in your town that you can partner with.
They might be looking for more exposure, you have it, you know, an athletic
group might be looking for more speakers, the rotary might need more speakers,
some cooperation might need some help with ergonomic training, or might be
interested in having somebody speak about how to stay fit. So they're trying to
you know, we've had kind of initiative where like, it's an in office 45 day,
good shape.

 And a nice about it
helped guide that maybe you might be in front of that guide that he just
reached out. And then another one that was on the program was talking about,
you know, a lot of actors additions to have this song that they portrayed on
stage or in the movie, they straight up and getting paid to play someone and
then you meet them in real life you like Well, you're not that person is like,
Well, yeah, I'm not that person. I'm not. I'm that's a character. Not really
like that.

I think of like Ashton Kutcher. He always comes off as like
a dummy. But in real life, he's really tech savvy and all that kind of stuff.
Not that I really follow the guy. But he just comes to mind. So it could be
something similar, we always want to put on our serious Dr. Head and outside,
they might see you like joking around.

And although some doctors like Well, I'm a serious person.
So I'm outside, I had to make sure I'm always you know, dress, a step above my
normal patient will be looking like are, you know, I can't ever really kick
back to them in a small town people judge me and how I look how I act. I'm
actually more goofy at my house and I lay on.

And so the question becomes, could you bring that into the
office somewhat? Could you be more spontaneous and fun in the office so people
do see you, they don't have such a shock feeling and you don't feel like you're
an imposter.

That was kind of my takeaway. hope that gives you some
insight into yourself and then some way that you could modify maybe how you're
interacting with your clients and your daily life, or they can be a little bit
more of the same because the factors that musicians are like hiring people to
come up to the front Are you disappointed cuz you're not the same person? now
working just kind of like the bridge there has to be someone. Okay.

We just went #behindthecurtain
