Transition from a Breath Awareness through a Sound Awareness to a General Awareness and back again is discussed and practiced. You can use the breath as your sole object but you can move into a wider mode of awareness once a steady awareness is established. This is not easy to do with true moment-to-moment fidelity but give it a try. Beware of Ping Pong mind during the transitions.
