What does it really mean to follow Jesus?
In this episode of Mac and Cheese and What Else?, we're diving into Matthew 4:12–25, where Jesus begins His public ministry, fulfills prophecy, calls His first disciples, and proclaims the life-changing message: "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven has come near."
Together, we'll explore why Jesus' move to Galilee mattered, the beautiful contrast between light and darkness, what it meant for ordinary fishermen to leave everything behind, and how Jesus' ministry revealed His compassion, authority, and power.
Most importantly, we'll reflect on what this passage means for us today. Are we willing to leave behind the things that keep us from fully following Christ? Are we walking in the light He offers, or are we still holding on to the darkness?
Join me as we discover how Jesus' invitation to His first disciples is the same invitation He extends to each of us today: Come, follow Me.
