Mac Winget, President of Southeastern Architectural Systems, joins Trent and Patrick on “At Home with Roby”.  Mac grew up on a farm in the Steele Creek community where he learned from his father and grandfather the importance of earning a living with either his head or his hands.  He accomplished the “head” part at Appalachian State University where he earned a degree in History.  To help with the “hands” part, he took welding classes alongside his history classes at nearby Caldwell Community College.  After graduation, Mac taught high school history for a couple of years before moving on to Southeastern Architectural Systems where he was able to combine his passion for teaching and desire to build and use his hands.
