A statement on current events (February 2022):
Monday sees the release of the final two episodes of MTSKh-37. Given current world events, both we and the scenario’s author Bret Kramer have been feeling conflicted about it airing, but we feel it’s important to bring closure to that story.
However, we would hate for our listeners, especially those in Ukraine, to think we were making light or taking advantage of the terrible events unfolding right now.
The episodes were recorded and edited a year ago, when the situation in Ukraine didn’t appear to be escalating at anything like its current pace, and we sincerely hoped that real world horrors would never come to overshadow our cosmic terrors in the Kharkov region of 1933.
The scenario itself was written in 2004, and was partly inspired by Bret’s own time in Ukraine and his fondness for its people—please check out his thread here:
