The co-curricular experience at McDonell is explored from the personal perspective of Band Director Deacon Sean Hansonand Senior Daniel Green.  Deacon Hanson, he has been at the school since 2012 helping lead the bands while Daniel playstenor sax (along with trying his hand at acting in this year’s musical).  What inspires Deacon Hanson that keeps himcoming back?  Daniel details how participating in co-curriculars allows him an opportunity to move outside ofhis comfort zone. Deacon Hanson also gives us a deeper appreciation to music and its inherent impact on our self-awareness.
