Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn has raised concerns over overfishing in the Dáil, warning Ireland may face cuts to its fishing quotas.

He argued that much of the overfishing is carried out by fishers from other states, particularly Norway and Iceland.

During questions to the Minister for Agriculture, MacLochlainn said Ireland must confront this “injustice.”
