Mad Max was released to a confused and horrified public in 1979, and went on to change the post-apocalyptic landscape in cinema. In honor of its third sequel's five year anniversary, we figured it was finally time for us to watch the original drive-n-fight doomsday movie. Then, on a gentler note, we watched Carol, a 50s period drama about two women falling in love very slowly, but very heavily.
