A veteran documentary filmmaker reaches out to lend us a helping hand in the making of our first feature documentary. This week we have part 3 of our “Making a Documentary” miniseries, wherein we document the making of my first low-budget feature-length documentary "Invisible Illness." During this series, it's my goal to share not only what I've learned, but what other documentary filmmakers have learned. On this episode we have CEO and founder of Life is My Movie, Vincent Vittorio. Vincent has produced over a dozen feature length documentaries and has just finished a successful Kickstarter for another. Like me, he's drawn to topics that tackle important causes and social justice. This week we tackle the difference between journalism and documentary filmmaking; making ethical choices; and making creative choices in the doc filmmaking process. We also recently launched the Kickstarter for our feature doc. CHECK OUT OUR KICKSTARTER. We'll be covering what we learned on the podcast.Music in this EpisodeMusic was curated from FreeMusicArchive.org.
