I hadn’t seen you since you left the State

But I saw your name on another’s page

And curiosity got the better of me

Silky and assured - your man at your feet

But I heard he cut the scene

It seems a mad idea that I’m the one who gets to be

Flying to you

I feel like a crazy jetting through clouds

Eight miles up here in the air

Carrying it out this mad idea

It wasn’t easy making that e-comment

But when I saw you write your laugh out loud

I guessed you’d opened up since he sent you down
