"Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior" is a 1981 Australian action film set in a post-apocalyptic dystopian world. Directed by George Miller, it is the second film in the Mad Max franchise, with Mel Gibson reprising his role as "Mad Max" Rockatansky. The story revolves around a community of settlers who defend themselves against a band of marauders. The film was shot on location in various parts of the Outback of New South Wales, predominantly around Broken Hill.
