An absolute Cult Classic, and the birth of what was to be an extremely lucrative franchise, 1979's Mad Max is definitely a love/hate movie, there's no in-between. 

One thing's for sure though, having coined in over $100,000,000 at the box office to date, you certainly cannot pan it!
