Bio: Astin Wangel-Brown is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Los Angeles. She has received specialized training as a Certified Couples and Family Therapist. She uses her expertise in relational therapy and evidence-based solution-focused treatment in supporting clients to clarify, create and act on goals for desired change.
Astin hopes to participate in filling the gap in need for more queer and trans-affirming, Black-identified psychotherapists. She uses a collaborative, non-judgmental, social justice-informed stance in her work with all clients, paying close attention to the many layers of context and identity involved in every clients reason for pursuing treatment.
