Madden 23 releases worldwide on Aug. 19. The game will be released on PS4/5, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One and PC.

Every year's "Madden" release is highlighted by the actual ratings release by ESPN and its host of related programming.

As is custom, hours of ESPN programming will be dedicated to debating the virtual counterparts of NFL players on several of its programs, starting with "Get Up!" and ending with "NFL Live" every day this week. Not all position groups will be revealed, of course.

If you're someone who anxiously awaits to take to Twitter to dissect why a certain player was given a 89 rather than an 87, then it's your week. The ratings of wide receivers, edge rushers and others will be revealed this week.
