Maddie Poole is one of just 20 students to be named a 2016 U.S. Presidential Scholar in Career and Technical Education. While a student (and FFA member) at the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences, Maddie developed her interest in science and research, and that opened doors to numerous opportunities – including an internship at the University of Illinois and travel to India and China.
