About Maddie Salamone:
Former Division I lacrosse player and former Chair of the Division I Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), committed to bettering the lives of athletes. Passionate about helping athletes to be successful as complete human beings. Believer in empowering athletes and changing the way we think about coaching, parenting, and mentoring athletes at the collegiate, high school, and youth levels.
Using experience as a former athlete and lawyer to educate and consult on name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights and legislative developments in college athletics to ensure that athletes, their parents, and those involved in college sports are prepared and that athletes' interests are front and center.
Advocacy work has included testifying before NC Legislature, consulting with lawmakers, meeting with ADs and leadership within the NCAA, serving on NCAA rules working groups and councils, speaking events, working with athletes and parents, and more.
