The Father of Glory does not produce anything less than glorious, and that settled fact is the starting point for understanding who you are.
This teaching works through Ephesians 1:15-23 to establish that identity is not a destination but an internal reality already produced in Christ. The argument moves from Paul's description of God as "the Father of Glory" to the logical conclusion that everything issuing from him, including his sons, must be glorious in outcome, no matter how the middle of the story feels. Romans 8 and Ephesians 3 are held together to show that "all things working for good" is not a comfort for the moment but a trajectory toward glory. The teaching then takes up Genesis 1, pressing the claim that "let us make man in our image" was not first about Adam but about Christ, the image of God who is a person, not a physical likeness. To be made in that image is to be conformed to him, and conformity to him is what divine DNA actually means.
SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 1:15-23, Romans 8:28, Genesis 1:26-27, Colossians 1:15-17, Hebrews 1:2-3
SERIES: Made in Love. A teaching series rooting sons in the love from which they were made and the identity that love produces.
