We confessed that we have seen laziness in our lives at times, and while grace covers it all, we want to make sure we are stewarding our time and energy in a God honoring way.

Faithfulness and consistency in the small things something we admit we've both struggled with, but we have learned so much about the fruit of being faithful. We know there is so much freedom in the day to day belief that God is good and He will do what He said, in His time. It's in the waiting where faithfulness is built!

We had some thoughts about all the New Year chatter. New year, new you? No, probably not. We love newness and growth, but we also love sustainable habits and a kingdom mindset that clearly lights our path all year long. Join us, we hope you enjoy it!

Dr. Sandy Richter is an Old Testament scholar, author, international speaker, and professor. We couldn't wait to sit down with her!

She is known for her work on Deuteronomy and Deuteronomistic History. She brings the Old Testament to life by exploring the real people and real places from which it comes.

She has not only led student groups in archaeological excavation and historical geography classes in Israel, but has also taught at Asbury Theological Seminary, Wesley Biblical Seminary and Wheaton College. Dr. Richter is the author of The Epic of Eden: A Christian Entry into the Old Testament and is currently working on a second in that series; The Fifth Gospel: A Christian Entry in to the Book of Isaiah (IVP Academic). Her current research involves a forthcoming commentary on Deuteronomy with Eerdmans.

What does repentance mean to you? We find that many people have a negative belief of what it means, and often associate it with guilt or shame; when it's actually a beautiful process that God leads us through as we learn to listed to His voice and walk in His ways.
