Madison’s other MMSD, The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District, is seeking a qualified artist/educator to engage and empower water stewards through a one-year residency at the Nine Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant. The residency is open to artists/educators of any discipline or medium, and the focus is on connecting people to the District and strengthening their relationships to water – especially as it relates to conserving, protecting, and reflecting the value of it in their own individual daily choices and actions.

Joining Friday Buzz host, Jonathan Zarov, to talk about why they want to put an artist in a sewage treatment plant–how you might enlist to sing the praises of clean water is the pollution prevention specialist with MMSD who leads the residency program, Catherine Harris.
