Balanga Choral Artists became a community choir in 2019, shortly before the pandemic. The grand plans they had in store had to be kept in store—until now. The group intend to make their in-person competing debut at this year’s Busan International Choral Festival and Competition, and have already launched their fundraising campaign. Shortly before that, DZFE’s Daniel met virtually with two of the BCA’s members—conductor Joven Magbanua and bass Ross Loresto—to talk about the group’s history and activities.
