Dino Decena, concertmaster of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, celebrated Filipino talent for the sixth installment of the PPO’s Recital Series last April: with pianist Mary Anne Espina, he performed music by Nicanor Abelardo, on a violin made by the late Amador Tamayo. Decena joins DZFE’s Daniel to tell us more about Abelardo’s music and Tamayo’s instrument on this edition of MAESTRO FILIPINO.
