The National Music Competitions for Young Artists—last year themed Maglayog, or Lumipad—is once again on the ground. That is, after two years of online competitions, NAMCYA is onsite, and in-person. Maestro Filipino opens the feature on the latest batch of winners with guitarist Edel Mark Bitao, pianist Benedict Magboo, French hornist John Gerald Calma, and soprano Ina Saban. DZFE’s Daniel is the host.
