The International Bamboo Organ Festival is back onsite—in fact, it happens on multiple sites—and back with it is Eudenice Palaruan. After eight years, he again conducts the Villancico Vocal Ensemble, now the Collegium Vocale Manila. He joins us to open the MAESTRO FILIPINO spotlight on the 48th International Bamboo Organ Festival, and tells us more about Collegium Vocale’s growth over the years, the music they will perform—including an incomplete work by the little-known Christobal de Belsayaga—and more.
