In today’s episode, Maggie Larocque gives insight into how she became the founder of the Nonprofit Organization Uplift Canada. Uplift Canada’s goal is to up-cycle clothing and directly relocate them to local shelters. Maggie noticed the obscure waste of clothing that comes from people per year and today she talks about how she turned this small idea into an organization that is currently providing a greater solution.
