Rishi Chyavan was a son of great Bhrigu. He married to a princess named Sukanya. Sukanya's devotion and medical help from twin druid Ashvini Kumars make Chyavan regain his youth. In an orthodox society he is credited to give doctors their due. Tradition also associated him with the herbal formula to remain forever young.
