You know what made summer bearable in the summer afternoons of the 90's? Maach bhaat or the aam er jhol induced the much needed afternoon siesta. But, not before I could stretch out on the cool floor, a bolster under my head, a book in hand and my legs propped up on my grandmother's heaving tummy!
