Mahnaz Afkhami is a women's rights activist and the founder and president of the Women’s Learning Partnership and the Executive Director of the Foundation for Iranian Studies. Previously, between 1976 and 1978, she was the Minister of Women’s Affairs in Iran and the Secretary General of the Women’s Organization of Iran.
