After the 2022 floods in Pakistan hit, it became evident that sanitary napkins were not considered a need but a luxury. Bushra Mahnoor and Anam Khalid recognized this gap. They started Mahwari ( Menstrual) Justice, a campaign that provides menstrual products to flood-affected women and starts a much-needed conversation about period awareness.
