Publisher's Summary:
Widowed with a young child and deeply in debt, Sally Jones has no choice but to seek a new life out West, and Davis Carter seems like the right man to start over with. His letters say he is God-fearing man with a young son, and she tells him that she can provide them with the woman's touch their home is missing. But what she doesn't tell them is that she is traveling to their home with her daughter, Katie - and she has no idea if Davis will accept them.
Seeking a teacher and mother for his son, Davis is not looking for love, but only for a woman's touch to help bring some structure back into their lives. His son's upbringing is important to him, so when Sally meets him with her own daughter - a daughter she neglected to mention in her letters - he is furious. How can she give his son the attention he needs, when she will be busy with her own child?
But sometimes, anger is simply an expression of fear - the fear of losing a loved one once again.

This Author Needs An Editor!!
I believe Faith Johnson is a very good story teller and her stories are both good to read and inspire faith in God. I wish I could give her a five star review, but the spelling and punctuation in her stories show the serious need for an editor...or a proof reader at the very least. Being a retired editor, I realize I have to overlook grammatical and punctuation to a large degree when reading novels, but when the errors are so many and so simple, I find it greatly diminishes a reader's pleasure. The extra time spent editing and/or proof reading will go a long way towards gaining new fans and keeping current ones. I hope Ms. Johnson will improve her writing skills and continue toward a successful writing career.
Mail Order Bride: A Baby for the Heartsick Widower: Clean and Wholesome Western Romance
A young lady had traveled across the ocean to start a new life with a husband, the man was killed at work and she had no way to provide for her Daughter or herself. A man had lost his wife and he needed a Lady to teach his son how to behave. He posted an advertisement for a Bride but only wanted a lady for his small child. When she arrived he was not impressed by her having a child, his son was in danger of the train when she saved him. A must read for those who enjoy historical western romance kindle books from f Amazon and from a delightful author who keeps me entertained throughout the entire book before putting it down. Loved this book.
