Such a Cute Story!
Hannah truly showed love and faith to care for twin babies left by their mother. But even more astonishing is that she wasn't angry or upset that Jane came back for her babies.
What she did was very remarkable! And Piers also agreeing to make all three part of their family was beautiful. Some people out there would have left the babies on the train for someone else to take care of, or put them in an orphanage regardless of what the mother wrote in her letter, and some would have looked down on her for being only fifteen, unmarried as well as having two twin babies, they might have even insisted she take her babies and leave.
Beautiful story Emma, just beautiful!

Joy!!
You really do an amazing job telling these stories! I know they're short stories but sometimes I get to reading and wish for more. Thanks Emma!
No depth to this story.
The story line is of course identical to every other mail order bride book but the telling of this one was like a narration not a story. It's like the author was just telling about something she heard. There was no depth in the people. No background telling about their history they were just suddenly there. I know this was a short story but less than 2 hours is a little too short. Oh yeah the Epilogue is longer than the story line.
