Brother D is on pins and non-Euclidean needles as he looks forward to this weekend's H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival & Cthulhu Con, but he's not so distracted that he can't put together Episode 181 of Mail Order Zombie! This time around, he takes a look at the 2012 zombie movie release The Terror Experiment (dir. George Mendeluk). This episode also features Part One of a two-part review of JABB pictures' latest anthology release The Collective, Volume 3. The Mail Order Zombie offers up some reviews of their own when Silent Death reviews the videogame The Walking Dead from Telltale Games, and a review of the Mira Grant's novel Feed comes from Eradication H. In addition to the Lovecraft Film Festival, Brother D will also be attending Crypticon Seattle this month where he'll be a panelist, so he talks about that as well before Miss Bren joins him for this episode's Feedback Discussion. Another episode of Mail Order Zombie, another movie review . . . and a film festival . . . and revisiting two movies we've already talked about on the show before!  Brother D checks out the rampaging 1980 movie Nightmare City (dir. Umberto Lenzi), and Need-a-Nickname Scott can finally check watching Helldriver (dir. Yoshihiro Nishimura) off his bucket list by checking out the Blu-ray at MOZ Central.  Also, D and Scott crammed into the MOZ-Mobile with Miss Bren and Missing-a-Moniker Tracey and drove to the Evergreen State last weekend to check out the 2012 BoneBat Comedy of Horrors Film Festival where at least one of them rewatched DeadHeads (dir. Brett Pierce and Drew T. The Mail Order Zombie Dead Letter Awards are a yearly awards show in which the best of zombie movies and media are honored in categories like Best Movie; Best Actor; Best Actress; Best Book, Fiction; Best Book, Non-Fiction; Best Videogame; etc.

Once the nominations are announced, the winners will be determined by popular vote. The voting period runs from 3/5/12-3/16/12. The Dead Letter Awards show will take place during Mail Order Zombie #177 (3/22/12)

In this episode of Mail Order Zombie, Brother D talks about a zombie movie that's been on his radar since he first heard about it in 2010, but since it has such an innocuous name like The Dead (dir. Howard J. Ford and Jonathan Ford), it was difficult to find much information about it online before it was released in the UK last year. It hits DVD and Blu-ray in the US this month, and you'll have to listen to Episode #174 to hear if the movie lives up to D's expectations! This episode also features the first of MOZ's occasional Palette Cleansers in which D walks the MOZ Family through JABB pictures' The Collective Vol. 2. After the Feedback at the end of the show with Miss Bren, D takes some inspiration from a recent episode of Outside the Cinema and presents his Top Six List of Zombie Movies That Would Make Awesome Video Games.
