H.B. Charles observes that when “leaning over to reach the world, the church is prone to fall in.” Through the exposition of 1 Corinthians 1:18-25, Charles argues that the church must carry out her holy vocation—faithfully and confidently preaching the message of Christ crucified. In other words, the church must be the church.
