Staying true to the course is essential to arriving at the desired destination. A wrong turn, veering left when one should have veered right, or choosing the wrong highway will likely mean never arriving at the intended place. A biblical worldview should be considered in these terms. It is easy to get on the wrong road, even when believing it is correct if the Bible is not a constant companion. This study will demonstrate how first-century Christians faced this struggle and how Christians of the modern era must maintain vigilance not to inadvertently intermix the gospel message of the cross with inferior things.
