This Sunday we heard about how God actually used donkeys to accomplish his purpose.

It was just another frustrating day for Saul when he went to look for his father’s donkeys that had managed to wander off. In fact, God was using this as an opportunity for the future king to seek Him.

After days of searching, Saul eventually starts looking for Samuel to get a little divine guidance in his mission to find the donkeys. You can just imagine the shock of a lifetime when Samuel tells Saul that he is the future king of Israel. It would have been like winning the lottery, except it came with the responsibility to lead a nation-- which absolutely terrified him…more on that later.
