For too long, I let fear and self-doubt keep me hidden. I kept telling myself I wasn’t ready to film, even though deep down, I knew it was part of my purpose. One day, I made a decision: no more hiding. I picked up the camera and started filming. Not because I felt 100% ready—but because I knew growth begins when we step outside our comfort zone. This is me, showing up, owning my story, and choosing courage over fear. If you’re waiting for the perfect moment—it’s now.

Keeping your word to yourself means honoring the promises and commitments you make to you. It's a form of self-respect and personal integrity that builds confidence and trust in your own abilities. Whether it's sticking to a goal, maintaining a routine, or resisting self-sabotage, following through on what you say you’ll do for yourself reinforces your inner strength.

When you break your word to others, you damage trust—it's the same when you break promises to yourself. Over time, this can weaken self-esteem and create a pattern of procrastination, doubt, and frustration. Conversely, consistently keeping your word—even in small ways—develops discipline, resilience, and a stronger sense of identity.

Ultimately, keeping your word to yourself is about showing up for your life and goals with the same reliability you’d offer to someone you deeply respect. It's a foundational habit for personal growth and long-term success.

There’s a special kind of love that blooms when you least expect it, and for me, that love came in the form of my stepdaughters’ children. From the moment they entered my life, they brought with them a light I didn’t even know was missing. It made me look at their mom kinda like she is a little kid again too cause they have her personality and traits. They help me understand her more, which led me to love her more and I didn't even think that was possible. Their presence and laughter fills the room with a kind of magic that heals the heart and lifts the spirit.Each giggle, every silly story, every tight hug—these moments have become treasures I hold close. Watching them grow, learn, and discover the world is one of the greatest joys I’ve ever known. They’ve given me a sense of purpose, a deeper kind of happiness, and a reminder of how beautiful it is to love without limits.They may not be mine by blood, but they are fully mine in heart. And the joy they bring isn’t just a fleeting feeling—it’s the kind of joy that settles into your soul and stays there, changing you forever in the most wonderful way.

I thought we were set for life. We had plans, savings, and what felt like financial stability. But after my husband passed, the truth slowly unraveled — debts that have to be paid, assets tied up or inaccessible, and expenses I’d never considered. It hit me hard: we weren’t as financially secure as I believed. Grief is heavy on its own, but facing financial reality while mourning is a whole other weight. This is what they don’t prepare you for. But, always remember, everything will be ok if you just trust and believe...

Selling prized possessions while grieving was bittersweet. Each item carries emotional value, but letting go becomes necessary to rebuild financial stability and care for loved ones. It’s a sacrifice born from determination—a step toward a new future, where memories remain even as material things are parted with. This process took a lot of courage, turning loss into an investment in hope and growth.

His love was patient and thoughtful, seamlessly embracing both the chaos and beauty of our world. He knew it wasn’t just about winning Amaya's little heart but also earning her trust, and he did so with gentle consistency—small gestures that meant the world, like showing up to school recitals and remembering favorite food and toys. His love created a space where you never felt like you had to choose between being a mother and being loved as a woman. He saw her pain, her 4 year old heart and loved her for who she was and instead of being intimidated, he admired it all the more. In his love, we found a life of shared dreams and unconditional acceptance. We found my husband and her dad. What a great man...
