Homily for the 26th Sunday of Ordinary Time
Jesus calls us to cut off the “hand” and pluck out the “eye” in our life that causes us sin. He is telling us what is needed in order to change the direction of our lives. We are called to detach ourselves from the things getting in the way of heaven and make a u-turn when possible.
