Make Amends is the third single from my upcoming album Those Feels from The Ville 🏡—and this ain’t fiction. It’s real.

I’m not some rich man 💰. I don’t come with flashy promises or fake status. I come with truth. I come with consistency. I fall short too 🤷🏽‍♂️. But I don’t fake change. I don’t talk what I ain’t ready to walk. My word is my bond 🔒.

She was an old friend—I guess 🤔. We were just cool. Crossed paths in the club a lot of yrs ago🥂, nothing deep. She never really acted like a friend until she needed one though📞.

She used to talk like she was done with the games 🎲, the streets 🚧, the fast life, the drugs 💃🏽. But that was just talk. Her actions told a different story.

She chased the night 🌃, chased clout 💅🏽, chased people who never had her back 🚫. Let lies lead her 🧠, let laziness rob her 🛋️, let poor judgment keep her stuck 🔁.

Education? Opportunity? All passed her by 📚💼 while she laughed like life was a joke 🤡.

And when it all fell apart—when the same folks she trusted turned their backs 🚪—she reached out. To me. Because I never switched 🔁.

Now I know I’ve got my own issues of the heart ache💔—I’ve reflected on that in other songs. But this ain’t that. This ain’t about love. This ain’t about care. This is about being unconditionally real—even when the other person ain’t 🧊.

I’m just a real one. And people miss the real when they’re surrounded by the fake 🪞.

Maybe you know someone like that. A man 👨🏽, a woman 👩🏽, a friend 🧑🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏽, a family member 👪. Maybe you’ve been that person. Maybe you’re still trying to figure out what being real even looks like.
