This is the first episode in our new set! A few audio things to work out and the Blue Angels (Navy) were in town during this shoot.
Jake recently went to Brooklyn and visited MakerBot. He received a copy of MakerBot in the Classroom: a book that helps teachers understand some basics of 3D printing and lay some groundwork for creating lesson plans.

Bre Pettis' new company BoldMachines put a large scale model on Thingiverse that is supposed to completely fill a MakerBot Z18. We printed it at 90% scale and talk about our experience with a 150+ hour print. You can also print it in segments if you have a smaller printer.
